Five Rose-Hulman
Student-Athletes Named HCAC
Player of the Week
Corbin Clow -- HCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week
TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology earned a school record five Heartland Collegiate Athletic
Conference Player of the Week awards in results released today by
the league office.

Corbin Clow (Martinsville), women's tennis player Sam Danesis
(Akron, Ohio/Revere), men's cross country runner Tyler
Kreipke (Zionsville), women's cross country runner Melissa
Rogers (Crawfordsville/Southmont) and sophomore placekicker
Nick Schneider (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) each claimed the
weekly recognition in their respective sports.
Clow was named men's soccer Player of the Week
after helping the Engineers top Illinois Wesleyan University on
Wednesday night. He scored both first half goals as part of
Rose-Hulman's 3-0 victory.
Sam Danesis -- HCAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week
The men's soccer team improved to 4-4-1 on the season
with the victory and won its HCAC opener last weekend. Rose-Hulman
returns to action at Defiance College on Saturday.
Danesis
improved to 9-1 in singles play this season and moved to 37-0 in her
career in HCAC singles matches with a pair of victories against
Hanover and Franklin.
Danesis, who also played on the winning No. 1 doubles squad over
the weekend, improved her career singles record to 65-12 with the
wins.
The women's tennis team stands 8-2 overall this spring and
individuals from the squad will compete at the Intercollegiate
Tennis Association Regional at DePauw this weekend.
Tyler Kreipke -- HCAC Cross Country Runner of the Week
Kreipke
claimed HCAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors after
placing 12th individually at the Otterbein College Invitational on
Saturday. The effort marked the second straight strong
performance for Kreipke, who finished second at the Indiana Little
State Meet last weekend.
His performance helped the men's cross
country squad place seventh as a team at Otterbein. The
Fightin' Engineers will compete at the Earlham Invitational this
weekend.
Rogers finished seventh individually at
the Otterbein Invitational to pace the women's team effort.
Her effort included a time of 23:35 over the six-kilometer course.
Rogers helped the women's cross country team place fourth at the
Otterbein meet. The Fightin' Engineer women's cross country
team will also compete at Earlham this weekend.
Melissa Rogers -- HCAC Cross Country Runner of the Week
Schneider finished a perfect 5-5 on extra points and made a 22-yard field
goal attempt to earn HCAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the
football squad.
His efforts included seven kickoffs at a 58.4 yard average per
kick. On the season, Schneider is a perfect 5-5 on field goal
attempts and stands 20-21 on extra points.
The award marks
the second time this season that Schneider has been named HCAC
Special Teams Player of the Week.
Rose-Hulman
dropped a 45-38 decision to Mount St. Joseph in the Homecoming game
to drop to 2-2 on the campaign. The Engineers gained 499 yards
of total offense in the contest, including a season-best effort of
364 passing yards.

league action this weekend at Manchester College.
