Rose-Hulman led the HCAC
with 77 academic all-conference honors and also won the league
Commissioner's Cup for team achievement. |
TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology athletic department led the Heartland
Collegiate Athletic Conference with 77 academic all-league awards during
the 2007-08 academic year.
Rose-Hulman, which also captured the HCAC
Commissioner's Cup and Men's All-Sports Trophy for the composite
performances in all league sponsored sports, tallied 33 academic all-conference honorees
in the fall, eight in the winter and 36 in the spring.
Academic all-conference student-athletes must
follow the stringent criteria of carrying a 3.50 cumulative
grade point average and be in at least their second year at the
institution.
The 2007-08 Rose-Hulman academic all-conference
