  Dropping A Class

RH-line1

We realize that sometimes situations occur that require a class to be dropped. The policy on dropping a class is as follows:
Classes may be dropped up to the third day of the class meeting without grade or financial penalty. Drops after the third class will result in billing of 50% of the total class tuition plus the $100.00 book/supply fee. Requests to have this fee waived due to extreme emergencies may be presented to the Department Head of Engineering Management for consideration.

Receiving an Incomplete
We understand there are times when schedules do not allow a completion of some requirements for an Engineering Management Class. Therefore we have an Incomplete Policy that may be exercised upon the approval of the class professor. Upon approval from the professor, you will have 30 days from the last day of class to complete the requirement(s). If after 30 days the requirement(s) have not been submitted, you will receive a failing grade for the class and will be responsible for full payment of the course. If you cannot complete the requirement(s) within the 30 days given, you must submit an e-mail to Dr. Stamper and the Professor stating why you were unable to complete the assignment. They will review your request for extension and let you know whether one is granted. You may not register for another class until the requirement(s) are completed unless permission is granted by Dr. Stamper through e-mail request. Any additional questions should be directed to Cindy Richardson at cindy.richardson@rose-hulman.edu.
