BRIEF ABSTRACT

Over time the average length of uninterrupted speech offered by a Presidential candidate on the evening news has decreased. Where is the average length of these sound bites headed? We take data from a New York Times article and see if politicians are doomed to a "Yup!" "Nope!" soundbite in the future and if so when?
