+ Students need to be given lots of freedom in this experiment to design the display table set up, to decide what they want to compare (or even if they want to compare), the time duration for the data collection, variations in the experiment, and the curve fitting routines and curves themselves.

+ We have used this several times in a liberal arts college setting and students really get into the collection and comparison of real data. Something not often done in a mathematics class.
