Feigenbaum Diagrams and Extensions for Cantor Sets

BRIEF ABSTRACT

The goal of this problem set is to familiarize students with bifurcations of maps. The problems require knowledge of the derivative, and are appropriate for a course in chaos, discrete math, or calculus (given about a week to spare.) Students are motivated through the beauty of various types of bifurcation diagrams.
