ISSUES IN SOLUTION

The issue in this problem is a good diagram. The issue is visualizing the figure and coming up with an appropriate diagram. Students will spend a good bit of time drawing sketches and labeling points. This is GOOD! It will help their visualization. Even after a solution is known students will grapple with the diagram and the actual significance of rolling out region PBM on the flat x-y-plane.
