Aloha from... Indiana? Today was Hawaiian Day, as evidenced by large amounts of floral print that appeared at today's morning meeting. Today was also "Chemistry through the ages" day, where one of Rose's Chemistry professors does pretty much every awesome chemistry trick in the book while detailing the history of chemistry from alchemy forward.
After dinner, the monkeys played some rousing games of sand volleyball in the last intramurals events of the week. After that, Tasty Treat Thursday led about 25 students to Baskin Robbins for some ice cream. Rescheduled s'mores happened on Speed Beach as well.
As a special treat, a couple of vans went to Spooklight over in Brazil at midnight. As legend has it, driving to a certain road and flashing your lights signals a ghost, who will cross the road carrying a lantern. The jury's still out on how many sightings there will be tonight.
We've got a super fun weekend coming up with lots of fun activities. Be on the lookout for pictures and updates!
