Success was acheived early for one Catapult group today; their hovercraft was able to glide about 30 feet down the hallway with the touch of a remote control! The next step for them is automation, so rest assured, no one's done yet. The rest of the project groups continued to receive requested supplies and kept working on their projects. The pizza-box name tags are out in force; hopefully, those monkeys that had to wear them will never forget their nametag again!
After the end of project time, we had some rousing games of volleyball go down in the SRC. Unfortunately, one student was injured walking outside of BSB; she had to go home with her dad. Luckily, a bunch of the gals on her floor made her a huge care package and promised to keep her up to date on Facebook. Libby: get better!
We had planned to go to two movies tonight, The Sorcerer's Apprentice and Grown Ups, but all the students who signed up wanted to see Grown Ups so that's where we went!
To round out the night, we had campus golf for Midnight Madness. For those unfamiliar with the sport, you take a golf putter and a tennis ball and assign random objects on campus (e.g. trees, statues, etc.) as 'holes' and then attempt to hit the objects with the tennis ball.
