Notes:
1. Homework is not collected. 5-point quizzes are given each day over HW due for the previous day. Lowest several quiz scores are dropped.
2. You must pass lab to pass the course.
3. Questions on grading must come within one week of being returned.
4. Approximate points: quiz-100, lab-100, 4 hour exams @100, final @200; total = 800. No fixed scale but <60% of total points or <50% of exam points means a large likelihood of failing the course.
5. Lab orientation 3rd/4th week (starts Thurs Sept. 14), labs in weeks 4/5 (starts Thurs Sept 21), then weeks 5/6, 8 and 9.
Formula sheet for the final exam. (Will be handed out on 11/6. Will be attached to final exam.)
